CHAPMANVILLE — The Logan County Public Service District has issued a boil water advisory for a large portion of the Chapmanville area due to a leak in the main line on Garretts Fork. The advisory was issued Fri., Sept. 28.
The areas of Chapmanville, Big Creek, Ridgeview, Saw Mill, Trace Fork, North Fork, Garrett Fork, Crawley Creek, and all of Harts will be under the advisory until further notice.
The LCPSD recommends bringing the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.
Customers are asked to share this information to those who may not have received it.
Customers of the areas will be notified when they no longer need to boil their water.
