MILL CREEK, W.Va. — Mrs. Ella Louise Stowers Hunter, 60, of Mill Creek, was born January 26, 1952, at Logan, a daughter of the late Clarence D. and Delores G. Stowers. She departed this life to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Hunter was a worker for the Department of Health and Human Resources for more than 40 years. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was of the Church of God Faith and attended the Mill Creek Church of God.
Also preceding her in death was her sister, Denise Stowers; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Walter Hunter and Donald Ray Bryant; her loving in-laws, Walter Thomas and Loretta Hunter, and one granddaughter, Katherine Louise Hunter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and caring husband, Donnie R. Hunter Sr.; daughter, Dawn (Paul) Wiley of Mill Creek; sons, Tom (Leslie) Hunter of Logan and Donnie (Crystal) Hunter Jr. of Mill Creek; grandchildren, Felicia (Paul) Browning, Michael (Tiffany) Arbogast, Chastidy Wiley, Lynzee Hunter, Thomas “TJ” Hunter, Hannah Hunter, Logan Hunter, Caleb Hunter, Derrick Sampson and Cody; great-grandchildren, Ray Arbogast, Urijah Mallow and Zayden Browning; sister and brother-in-law, Dee Dee (Dave) Jones of Florida and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She is greatly loved and will be sadly missed.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 11, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
