SWITZER, W.Va. —Caren Beth Blankenship, 39, of Switzer, departed this life Sunday, November 11, 2012, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston.
Born January 11, 1973, at Williamson, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Connie Blankenship of Switzer. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Saul and Easter Blankenship, and Harry and Lynell May.
Caren graduated with the Logan High School class of 1991 and was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memories include one son, Thomas “TJ” Hunter of Logan; two daughters, Lynzee Hunter of Logan and Lacelynn McNeely, adopted by Pete and Della McNeely of Verdunville; one brother, Carl B. (Freda) Blankenship of Lake; one sister, Chaté (Ira) Adkins of Switzer; four nieces, Brianna and Autumn Blankenship, and Kayli and Hali Adkins; two nephews, Richman “Buddy” II and Jared Vance, and one aunt, Sue Williamson.
Services will be held at noon Sunday, November 18, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Vance Cemetery at Holden.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at funeral home.
