WILKINSON, W.Va. — Ida McCloud, 90, of Wilkinson, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 10, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born May 23, 1922, in Mingo County, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Lula McCloud Kinser. Preceding her in death was her stepmother, Hazel Kinser; six brothers, Wade, Orville, George and Ossie Kinser, and Grover and Noah Marcum; three sisters, Zola Bryant, Pearlie Marcum and Sylvia Williamson, and one daughter Elizabeth.
Ida was a member of the Mt. Marish Baptist Church at East Fork Dingess.
Survivors include three sons, Bryan (Susie) McCloud, Roger (Virginia) Workman and Winham (Brenda) Workman, all of Logan; two sisters, Sue (Wornie) Meeks of Atensville and Maxie Lucas of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Kinser of Peytona; four granddaughters; one grandson; seven great-grandchildren, and three special care givers, Andrea Spry, and Roger and Betty Scott, with a special thanks to the staff at Trinity Health Care.
Services will be held at noon Thursday, December 13, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Wornie Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the Hager-McCloud-Vance Cemetery at Dingess.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
