A man who decided to urinate on the side of a busy highway is now facing indecent exposure charges.
Carlos Andre Rose, 47, whose address is listed as Columbus, Ohio, was charged with indecent exposure, pedestrian in the roadway and public intoxication on Dec. 2 by West Virginia State Trooper S.A. Belt.
According to the criminal complaint, Tpr. Belt had stopped in West Logan to get gas when he observed Rose “walking along and on County Rt. 10” towards West Logan. Belt states that he observed Rose walk up to a utility pole and “urinate in from of numerous people.” After making contact with Rose, Belt smelt what he believed to be alcohol on Rose. The complaint states that Rose “stated that he had around seven beers.”
Rose was released on a $2,500 bond.
In other court news:
• Jon Joshua Sizemore, 37, was arrested and charged on December 3 for false pretenses, petit larceny and transferring stolen property by Logan County Sheriff Deputy F.N. Ferrell II. He is being held in the South Western Regional Jail on a $10,000 bail for the current charges.
• Kevin Eric Gillman, 50, was arrested and charged on December 4 by WVSP Tpr. P.E. Stowers for driving suspended/revoked for DUI, no insurance, obstructing, false information to DPS and reckless driving. He is being held in the South Western Regional Jail on a $50,000 bail.
• Carl Ray Cook, 46, was arrested and charged on December 4 by WVSP Tpr. B.A. Lowe for prohibited possession of a firearm. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
• Christopher Lee Eplin, 23, was arrested and charged on December 6 by Man Police Department Patrolman J.D. Thomas for left of center and DUI. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
