HENLAWSON — Trinity Health Care Services employees helped spread good cheer throughout the community this holiday season.
Company employees and members of Steelworkers Local 12625-8 banded together to raise $1,840 to donate to the First Baptist Church of McConnell’s Christmas Outreach Program. The donation served to purchase 250 blankets to provide to families this year as part of a love gift given to local needy families.
The employees also participated in a food drive for the local charity, Keep the Christmas Lights On, supporting local coal mining families who are out of work this holiday season. Employees donated 12 boxes of non-perishable food items to this worthy cause.
“I have some of the most kind hearted people working for me at Trinity. Anytime we have some type of giving project my employees go all out and give when I know some of them are not in the best financial situations,” said Trinity Health Care Administrator Mark Noe. “I truly appreciate them and I am proud of them for helping to improve their community as a whole.”
