RUGGLES, Ohio — Janice Lou Clingan, 73, of Ruggles, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, December 22, 2012, at home.
Born July 14, 1939, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Asburn and Molly Farley Hensley. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James L. Clingan; son, Carl Clingan; brother, Claude Hensley; sister, Minnie Mae Collins and other siblings.
Janice has had many endeavors and touched many throughout her life. She moved to Ruggles in 1991. She was a graduate of Logan High School and worked at the Ashland Inn & Suites for several years. Janice was a member of the Ruggles Church and the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving children and stepchildren, James W. (Kristina) Clingan of Ruggles, Louie (Teresa) Hensley of Verdunville, Cheryl (Dave) Tidwell of Jackson Co., Ohio, Ted (Linda) Clingan of Medina, Ohio, and Tina Hicks of North Olmstead, Ohio; siblings, Ray (Rebecca) Hensley, Thomas (Naomi) Hensley, Dorothy (Elbert Jr.) Collins and Jean (Chuck) Irwin; grandchildren, Colby, Amber, Nickolas, Chris, Aaron, Rocksanne, Jeff, Michael, David, Darryl, Brandy and Tina, and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, with Pastor David McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Family Cemetery in Buckfork.
