VERDUNVILLE, W.Va. — Jeffery Allen Williamson, 37, of Verdunville, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born April 12, 1975, he was a son of Leron Jean Childers and the late Freddy Akers. Also preceding him in death was his grandfather, Willis Earl Williamson, and his cousin, Lil David Williamson.
Jeffery was a member of the Verdunville Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. He loved to play guitar and music of any kind.
Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 19 years, Misty Ellis Williamson; two children, Nikolas Jax and Kaylea Renee Williamson; grandmother, Lorene Williamson; brother, Larry (Hope) Williamson; half-brothers, Jeff and Freddy Akers; half-sisters, Kim Akers and Cindy Herndon; aunts and uncles include Debbie (Billy) Russell, Sharon (Randy) Skeens, Donna (Bruno) Kromelis, Roger (Joann) Williamson, David Williamson, Judy (Vinko) Lukin, and Tammy (Paul) Mullen; a very special niece and nephew, Ethan and Rylee Williamson, whom he loved dearly; a host of cousins and friends, and a very special friends, Ronnie Cooper and Josh Jeffery.
Memorial services and visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, January 14, at James Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Williamson has been cremated.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
