The Chapmanville Regional High School baseball team went to Class A Van on Tuesday night and pounded on the Bulldogs 18-0.
The victory lifted the Tigers to 11-5 on the season.
No further details were available on the game.
Chapmanville has won three out of its last four games. Last week, the Tigers won 2-1 over Capital and 9-2 over Wayne in their own Daffer Memorial Tournament before falling 18-1 on Monday night at home to Class AA No. 1-ranked Herbert Hoover in Cardinal Conference action.
The Tigers are scheduled to return to the diamond on Thursday at home against Class AA sectional rival and conference foe Scott. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. at Chapmanville’s Ted Ellis Field.
CRHS is then set to play at Wayne on Friday in a 6 p.m. game before hosting Sherman on Monday in a 4:30 p.m. doubleheader.
Chapmanville then goes to Mingo Central on April 23, plays at Man on April 24, hosts Sissonville on April 25 and hosts Clay County on April 26.
* The baseball game between Logan and Lincoln County scheduled for Wednesday night at Logan High School’s Roger Gertz Field was rained out.
It has been rescheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m.
