Logan County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a domestic disturbance that took place at Pecks Mill.

Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with the victim and he told them his live-in girlfriend and their juvenile daughter duck taped his mouth, held him down for two hours, stomped on his right hand and beat his head on the floor. After the altercation, the victim went to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

The victim’s girlfriend and daughter had left the residence before the officers arrived. After the officers left, the victim was transported to Logan Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Carolyn A. Compton, 46, of Pecks Mill, was later arrested and charged with kidnapping and domestic battery. Her bond was set at $25,000.
