LYBURN, W.Va. — Alpha “Lula Bell” Osborne, 77, of Lyburn, departed this life Monday, May 13, 2013.
Born February 29, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Dave and Biner Campbell. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Charles “Smiley” Osborne; sons, Terry Lee Walls and Raymond Webster Walls; granddaughter, Terri Lea Walls; grandson, Joshua Allan Walls; brothers, Earl Campbell, Fred Campbell, Harold Campbell, and Edward Campbell, and sister, Catherine Campbell Altizer.
Lula Bell was of the Christian faith as a member of the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Dianna Lynn Walls; granddaughters, Shawn (Willie) McQuirthy, Sandra (Blake) Adams and Candis Walls; great-grandchildren, Brianna Simpkins, Blake Adams II, Cassidy Walls and Madison Adams; sisters, Linda (Joe) Burgess and Audrey Depta; brothers, Clarence (Barbara) Campbell and Jesse (Jan) Campbell; a special niece, Debbie Freeman and her daughter Nikki Estep, and many additional nieces, nephews, and friends.
A special thanks to Dr. Lackey and her staff for always tending to her every need. As she always sang, “Little is Much When God is in it!”
Visitation and services will be held from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Earl David Campbell and Rev. Roger Dale officiating. At the family’s request, Mrs. Osborne will be cremated following the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to James Funeral Home.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
