THIS WON’T HURT A BIT — Little Ruby did not take kindly to Dr. Michael Koch of the Tug Valley Vet Clinic giving her a rabies vaccination at the animal clinic hosted Saturday by the animal rescue group The Paws Squad. The Paws Squad urges pet owners to keep their animal’s vaccinations up to date, especially after an outbreak of distemper was confirmed at the Logan County Animal Pound.

PAWS — Michelle Starr with the animal rescue group The Paws Squad helped fill out the vaccination documents, give the dogs their tags at the rabies clinic. Vouchers for $50 off spay/neuter services were also available. Response to the clinic was better than expected.
