Recent Logan County arrests

Joshua Runyon, 31, of Chapmanville, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy and grand larceny. West Virginia State Police responded to a residence at Peach Creek, where the victim told them he saw the defendant and saw some of the items taken from his business in the back of the car. Officers located Runyon, another person and the vehicle the victim described, as well as some of the stolen items the defendant threw out in the weeds where the car was parked. Officers obtained a recorded statement stating Runyon had went into the victim’s building, removed items and sold them.

Felicia Mary Epperhart, 34, of Logan, was arrested for grand larceny and child neglect creating risk of injury. Logan County Sheriff’s deputies found the defendant walking around in the City of Logan after leaving Logan Regional Medical Center with a telemeter monitor valued at $2,000. The defendant left her 13-year-old daughter asleep in the hospital waiting room, unattended. Deputies contacted the child’s father to come to LRMC to retrieve his child.

Derek Craddock, 33, of Lake, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and conspiracy. West Virginia State Police arrested Craddock, who is accused of stealing a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. The officers received a recorded statement from Craddock, who advised he was to receive $500 in exchange for taking the vehicle.
