HENLAWSON — A residence on Cemetery Hill at Henlawson was destroyed Thursday by fire.

Neighbors in the area report that the building was “gone” before firefighters arrived on the scene.

“The fire was fully involved when we got there,” Steve Trent, assistant fire chief for the Henlawson Volunteer Fire Department.

Trent said no cause for the fire has been determined and is under investigation.

“I’m waiting on the fire marshal to get in town and help me investigate it,” Trent said.

Also responding to the alarm was the Logan Fire Department.

Neighbors report that the building was the residence of Timmy Perry.

There were no reported injuries.
