The Man High School volleyball team upped its record to 10-5-1 on the season with Tuesday night’s 3-0 win at Wyoming East.
The Class A Lady Billies swept the 2A Warriors as Man won 25-19, 25-15, 25-12.
Man is scheduled to return to action on Saturday at home against Buffalo. The first serve is set for 1 p.m.
“It’s a big match for us and we encourage everyone to come out and support us,” Man coach Orlando Washington said.
After taking on the Bison, the Lady Billies are scheduled to host county rival Chapmanville and Lincoln County on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. home tri-match. Man then hosts another tri-match on Oct. 3 as Greater Beckley Christian and Tug Valley, a pair of fellow Single-A teams, come to the Man Memorial Fieldhouse.
The Lady Billies then host Sherman on Oct. 8, go to Lincoln County on Oct. 10 and play in the Charleston Catholic tourney on Oct. 12.
Man then has four more scheduled matches to close out the season — Oct. 15 at the Mingo Central tri-match, Oct. 17 at home against Westside, Oct. 19 at the Buffalo tourney and Oct. 24 at home against county rival Logan.
