Mitchell to speak in revival services

Retired West Virginia State Police Chaplain Rev. Jim Mitchell will be guest speaker during revival services to be held at Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church, located at Cole at White Streets, Logan, from Sun., Oct. 6, to Tues., Oct. 8.


Mitchell has worked in various capacities throughout his ministry, from youth pastor and music minister to senior pastor, all while serving as a West Virginia State Trooper. He is a certified dog trainer, training K-9 officers for both West Virginia and Virginia law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Army.


Special music will be provided by Steve Tincher.


Service times are 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Mon.-Tues.


Pastor of the church is Rev. Tom Beckette.
