Officers of the U.S. 119 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force worked a drug investigation involving Clifford “Tiny” Griffin, 30, of Bruno, and filed a criminal complaint in the Magistrate Court of Logan County. Criminal complaints are public infomation and are not an indication of guilt, but contain accusations. Defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The officers had received information that Griffin, along with an unidentified black man from Ohio, were in Green Valley selling pills.

When Griffin was located in a parked vehicle, with two other individuals near the driver’s side window, officers say he instantly lowered his hands out of sight and disobeyed their verbal commands. According to the complaint, Griffin and the unidentified black male passenger were both smoking marijuana.

Officers later located over 200 pills including Roxicodone, Oxymorphone and Xanax on Griffin’s person. Griffin also had a sum of U.S. currency on his person.

Griffin was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intend to deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance, conspiracy and obstruction. His bond was set at $25,000.
