Rev. Parsons welcomed by Man Church of Nazarene

Rev. Ollie Parsons and his wife Denise have been welcomed as the new reverend at the Man Church of the Nazarene.


MAN, W.Va. — April 2, 2017 marks the beginning the pastoral ministry of Rev. Ollie Parsons at the Man Church of the Nazarene.

Rev. Parsons, an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and native of Man, graduated from Man High School in 1975 and began full-time pastoral ministry December, 1992. Through the course of 25 years, Ollie served three churches in the Charleston, W.Va. area, including the last 18 years at the Charleston Southeast Church of the Nazarene.

Sharing and supporting in his ministry is his wife of 36 years, Denise. They are parents of two children, Jeremy and Cristen and the proud grandparents of three grandchildren, Aven, Adley and Cali.

Rev. Parsons and Denise are reportedly very excited and humbled to have been called and accepted as Pastor at the Man church, and they look forward to becoming a part of the church family, as well as, the community of Man and the surrounding area.
