Feeding program volunteers honored

The First Baptist Church of McConnell volunteers for the Federal Summer Feeding Program were honored on Sun., Aug. 9, during Sunday School. This summer these volunteers delivered over 6,500 lunches to children on the church’s van routes. The volunteers picked up lunches from the Logan High cafeteria and delivered them to the Whitman, Ethel, Mud Fork, and West Logan areas in their own personal vehicles using their time and energy to do this good will. Pictured is Mike Johnson, Tana Epperhart, Pam Ellis, Jackie Steele for her daughter Tawny Johnson, Linda and Stephanie Thornhill, and Mimi and Scotty Browning. Not present but also delivering lunches were Libby Noe, Shirley Dardi and Donnetta Rainwater.
