MAN, W.Va. — The Man Lions Club will host the 2nd Annual Lee Noel Memorial Christmas Caroling on Thursday, December 17.
The event is in honor of the late Lee Noel, a local business man and steadfast Man Lion Club member.
The tradition began three years ago when a few members of the Man community joined with the Man Lions Club for an evening of spreading Christmas cheer through song. It brought so much joy to the community the Club decided to continue doing this every year.
“Lion Lee Noel enjoyed this so very much and we are glad to continue this in his honor,” said Chad Story, Vice President of the Man Lions Club. “This is a community event and the Man Lions Club encourages everyone to participate.”
Carolers will meet at the Buffalo Creek Memorial Library at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, leaving the library at 6 p.m. and proceed through South Man. There will be trailers and trucks for the carolers who may not be able to walk.
“Feel free to bring your own truck and trailer as well,” Story said. “Directly following the caroling, Man Church of God has graciously invited everyone to their kitchen for hot chocolate, warm cookies, and delicious soup. Musical talent is not required but the love of spreading Christmas cheer is.”
