Attendance trophy returns to Man Elementary


Man Elementary has reclaimed the award for having the highest attendance in the county for the sixth month of school. This is the third time this year MES has won the award, previously winning back-to-back for the third and fourth months of the school year. Man took the top honors with a daily attendance average of 93.64 percent for its 216 students. Finishing not far behind was Man Middle with 93.56 percent, Logan Middle at 93.35, and West Chapmanville Elementary at 93.21 percent. The attendance trophy is awarded to the school with the highest monthly attendance as a part of Logan County’s “Every Student, Every Day” attendance campaign.
