LOGAN, W.Va. — The January meeting of Logan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was held January 16 in the fellowship hall of Logan Church of the Nazarene.
Auxiliary President Pat Joe White opened the meeting by leading the members in reciting the Auxiliary Pledge.
The auxilians enjoyed a luncheon of hot soups on a snowy day along with variety of sandwiches and desserts following a blessing of the food given by Cecil Willis. The luncheon was catered by Granny Jacks and table decorations were provided by Beverly Roark.
A general business meeting was conducted by White and assisted by Parliamentarian Alice Cheek. White also appointed a nominating committee for officers to be elected at the April meeting. Appointed were Pauline Fortune, Carol Moore and Diana Townsend.
Auxilians celebrating birthdays during January, February and March were recognized with gifts. They were Midge Cox, Joyce Childers, Jane Watkins, Beverly Roark, Barbara Mounts, Diana Townsend, Wanda Grimmette, Hazel Browning, Marcella Kelly, Pat Joe White, Barbara Meade and Geraldine Smith.
The meeting was closed with members reciting the Prayer for Auxiliaries in Hospitals.
