LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Michael V. B. Bledsoe, D.O., graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine on May 30, 2015.
While at WVSOM, Dr. Bledsoe received the WV Rural Health Association’s 2013 Outstanding Rural Health Student of the Year; the WV Higher Education Policy Commission’s Health Sciences Service Program Award; and was a WVU Family Medicine Rural Scholar.
Bledsoe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., in 2011. He is a 2007 graduate of Chapmanville High School in Chapmanville, W.Va.
Bledsoe is the son of Michael B. and Sabrina Bledsoe of Chapmanville. He is married to Ashley Bledsoe.
He plans to enter a family medicine residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston.
