LOGAN, W.Va. — Local women attended the General Federation of Women’s Clubs West Virginia’s 110th annual convention. The event was held at The Green brier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia and presided over by President Jody Cunningham.
Shirley M. Baisden, president, Jenny Long, Jeana McNeely, Teresa Workman and Teresa McNeely, all of the Logan Woman’s Club from Southwestern District attended.
The annual convention is an opportunity to celebrate the work done by GFWC West Virginia members for their local communities. Awards were given for Community Service and Partnership programs as well as the President’s Special Project.
A new administration was welcomed for the 2016 -2018 biennium. Sharon Sheridan will serve as GFWC West Virginia State President.
