Omar Elementary has been awarded with the highest attendance for the ninth month of school in the 2014-2015 year.
Omar won the award with a daily attendance rate of 94.25 percent for its 189 students.
Man Elementary came in second place for the ninth month of school with 93.87 percent, and Holden Elementary finished third for the third-straight month with 93.51 percent.
Omar principal John Mullins said he was very proud of his students for their commitment to attendance.
As a part of its “Every Student, Every Day” attendance awareness campaign, Logan County Schools will recognize the school with the highest attendance rate each month. The winning school will receive the monthly attendance trophy to display until the next winner is announced.
