LOGAN, W.Va. — Haylie Nicole Bryant graduated Suma Cum Laude from Logan High School on May 27, 2016. She is ranked 2nd in her class with an overall GPA of 4.194.
During her senior year, Bryant served as an officer of the LHS Key Club and an active member of the National Honor Society and National BETA Club. She is an honor student who completed dual credit courses at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. She completed more than 130 hours of community service during her high school career.
Bryant’s high academic achievements earned the WV PROMISE Scholarship, the Marshall University Board of Governors Scholarship, the Michael Anthony “Tony” Gill Memorial Scholarship, the SCORES Academic Scholarship, and the Governor’s Honors Academy Scholarship. In addition, Bryant is the recipient of the Herff Jones Believe in You Scholarship and Principal’s Award, which is awarded to 50 students within the United States.
She is the daughter of Billy D. and Kelly Bryant of Mount Gay, W.Va., and the granddaughter of Billy E. and Bernitta Bryant of Mount Gay, Glenn Skidmore of Peach Creak, W.Va., and Priscilla Skidmore of Beckley, W.Va.
