Members of Logan Commandery 26 Knights Templar were honored on June 18 when Right Eminent Grand Commander Johnny Sluss visited them on their stated monthly meeting.

The Grand Commander discussed changes in Commandery as well as projects such as the Holy Land Pilgrimages — wherein York Rite Masons help ministers and pastors to visit the Holy Land — and the Vision Foundation.

The Knights Templar is an international philanthropic chivalric order affiliated with Freemasonry. The Knights Templar, commonly referred to in Freemasonry as Commandery, is one of the York Rite Masonic Orders for Masons who profess a belief in the Christian religion.

Commandery meets on the third Thursday of each month at Aracoma 99 Lodge in Logan County at 7:45 p.m.
