Pozega honored on 90th birthday


Betty Wagner Pozega, pictured sitting fourth from the right, celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, July 30, with family and friends at Chief Logan Lodge. Pozega was born and raised at Dehue, W.Va. Betty and her husband, the late Frank “Babe” Pozega raised their two sons in Logan County. Attending the celebration were her sons and their wives, Stan and Jamie of Fountain City, Tenn., and Gary and Judi of Flower Mound, Texas; grandson, Mark (son of Stan); her brothers and their wives, Bob and Jean Wagner of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Fred and Rosie Wagner of The Villages, Fla., and Jim and Tanya Wagner of Winston Salem, N.C. and their families from Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas, along with local friends. There were 37 people attending Pozega’s birthday dinner at the lodge restaurant which was followed by a party in the hospitality room with an outdoor tent and firepit.
