MAN, W.Va. — On Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at around 3 p.m., members of the Logan County Sheriffs Department executed a search warrant at 300 Main St. Man. along with an arrest warrant on David Allen Wingler, 34, of Man.
Members of the Sheriffs Office reportedly observed Wingler driving a vehicle in front of them, as Wingler began to exit the vehicle, a Terry Frisk pat down was performed where Deputies located two pill bottles on Wingler one containing 26 blue oval pills believed to be Xanax along with 4 orange pills believed to be Opana 40.
Mr. Wingler had approximately $390.00 US currency in his wallet.
Upon entering Wingler’s residence deputies located an additional $1,500 in US Currency along with a cellophane package containing 9 white oval shaped pills marked M365 which are believed to be Hydrocodone pills.
Deputies also located a brown prescription bottle containing 3 plastic wrapped orange pills with G74 markings on them along with 7-halves of an orange pill and 8-quartered orange pills, along with $102.55 in change that was loose and rolled. also located were 8-blue oval pills marked G3721 which are believed to be Xanax in a small plastic Ziploc in the same dresser drawer.
A total of nearly $1900 along with several Schedule II and Schedule IV drugs were confiscated.
The Defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Sheriffs Office for processing. Wingler was arraigned in Logan County Magistrate on six felony charges to include four counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of possession with intent to deliver.
Wingler was released on $10,000 bond.
This is an ongoing investigation by the Logan County Sheriffs department and additional arrests may be forthcoming.
