LOGAN — In furtherance of their aim in providing outdoor community theater to Logan County, The Aracoma Story Inc. will host, in conjunction with the Logan County Arts and Crafts Fair, a five kilometer (5K) road run on Aug. 8, 2015.
Registration for for the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday Aug. 8. The 5K will begin at 9 a.m. at Logan High School on Midelburg Island and will run a route that will end back at the high school.
Registration forms are available at the Aracoma Story Inc.’s office at 214 Main Street in Logan. Registration fees will be $15 per entrant over the age of 15 and $10 for per entrant over the age of fourteen. All proceeds from the 5K run will go to the Aracoma Story Inc., a non profit organization.
Runners will compete in seven divisions: 14 years old and younger, 15 to 25 years old, 26 to 35 years old, 36 to 45 years old, 46 to 55 years old, 56 and older and runner and pet.
A $100 cash prize will be presented to the overall winner of the 5K run and medals will be awarded to the winners from each age group.

The Aracoma Story’s production of “The Addams Family” will stage performances on July 28, 29, 30 and 31 and August 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater.
