Adults can gain admission into the pool at Chief Logan State Park for five dollars, the price of a child’s admission is four dollars and children under five swim for free.


During hourly pool breaks, the lifeguards at the pool at Chief Logan State Park take time to stay limber by swimming and jumping from the diving boards. In this photo, lifeguard Brendan Robinson executes a gainer.


Until Aug. 16, the pool at Chief Logan State Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. After Aug. 16, the pool will operate on weekends until it closes for the season Sept. 2.


A church group on a mission trip from Chicago filled the vestibule at the park pool July 29 as swimmers eagerly awaited their chance to cool off from the 90 degree temperatures.
