Man Street Fair starts today

The Town of Man Street Fair begins today and will continue through Saturday. Events and entertainment includes a car show. Registration for the car show is from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday.


The Town of Man will host their 22nd Annual Man Street Fair Friday and Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

On Friday, the official Earnhardt Jr. 88 Nationwide Chevy SS Show Car will for viewing from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Frozen characters Anna and Kristoff will also be making an appearance from noon-5 p.m.

Entertainment will include local band Coal Fired from 4-7 p.m. Friday. Bakkwoodz, a country band from Charlotte, N.C., will be in concert from 7-10 p.m. Friday and 7-11 p.m. Saturday.

The complete schedule for the fair includes:

• Fri., July 31

9 a.m.-5 p.m. — Earnhardt Jr.’s Official 88 Nationwide Chevy 55 Show Car

Noon-5 p.m. — Anna and Kristoff

4-7 p.m. — Coal Fired Band

7-10 p.m. — Down South Concert Tour, award winning up and coming new country artists Bakkwoodz from Charlotte, N.C.

All day food includes inflatables for kids, face painting, dunking booth, food and crafts.

• Sat., Aug. 1

Marshall University Medical Van

10 a.m.- noon — Car Show, Registration

11 a.m. — Town of Man Fire Dept. Tube Race

1 p.m. — Bike Race; Helmet and shoes required

1:30 p.m. — Egg Race

2 p.m. — Pet Show

2-4 p.m. — Jim Dillon

6 p.m. — Wrestling

7-11 p.m. — Down South Concert Tour, award winning up and coming new country artists Bakkwoodz from Charlotte, N.C.
