Business After Hours, ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday

LOGAN — The Logan County Chamber of Commerce will partner with White Eye Care to host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Business After Hours Tues., Sept. 22, at White Eye Care’s new location at The Oaks in Fountain Place Mall. The public is welcome to stop by and tour the new facility from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Ed White started White Eye Care in 1977 after training at Marshall University and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. This business has a long history of providing care to residents in the region. The practice was originally located on Stratton Street prior to moving to Fountain Place in 2004. Today the practice recently moved to a larger facility at The Oaks to accommodate taking in Dr. Lonnie Lucas as a full time partner.

In addition to primary eye care, White Eye Care offers routine annual eye exams, comprehensive eye health services including ocular trauma, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye care, eye disease related to general health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis and high risk medications.

White Eye care has state of the art ocular health diagnostic equipment and capabilities and offers a newly expanded line of eyeglass frames and top quality lenses, prescription and non-prescription sunglasses as well as contact lenses and specialty contact lenses.

The Logan County Chamber of Commerce serves as the “Voice of Business” in our area. Business After Hours provides an opportunity for the general public to see what business services are provided in their region. It is a prime opportunity for business professionals to network.
