Bicyclist struck on Corridor G dies

CHARLESTON – On September 23, 2015, a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on US 119 North

(Corridor G) just north of the Trace Fork Boulevard entrance. The bicyclist was riding in the traffic lane when he was struck.

The bicyclist has been identified as John A. Jump of Chesterfield Avenue in Charleston. Jump died from his injuries Friday afternoon, Sept. 25, at Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division. The driver of the car, James Hill of Logan County was not injured.

This crash is still under investigation.
