A boil water advisory has been put in effect for customers for all customers of Chapmanville Water including customers of the Logan County Public Service District (PSD) at Crawley Creek, Airport Road and Ridgeview. A leak causing low water tank levels has occurred and prompted the need to boil water. Customers of the PSD at Chapmanville, Sunset Court, Garrett Fork, Trace Fork, Anchor Road and from Crawley Creek to Harts are also under a boil water advisory.
Customers of Chapmanville Water and the PSD in the affected areas are being told to bring water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one full minute and let it cool before using or use bottled water.
Customers of Chapmanville Water and the PSD in the affected area should share this information with other customers – especially those who may not be able to receive notice of the advisory.
Chapmanville Water and the PSD will inform customers when the boil water advisories have been lifted. For more information, please contact the Logan County PSD at 304-946-2641 and Chapmanville Water at 304-855-3227.
