This weekend will be your final opportunity to see the creepy and kooky show “Addams Family the Musical” at the Coalfield Jamboree Theater in downtown Logan.
The ARTS promises a show full of slap-stick comedy and eye-brow raising moments – true to the comic strip and as familiar as the block-buster movies.
“We selected this show specifically for October,” Rachel Noe-Maynard, Artistic Director for the ARTS said. “I cannot think of a more perfect show to kick-off the Halloween Season. The Addams Family captures the very essence of Halloween.”
The Addams Family the Musical has been making its way around the country as a successful touring show and is available for amateur theatre companies to produce.
Friday’s performance will begin at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by White Eye Care located in the Oaks Plaza. Saturday’s performance will begin at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by Thornhill Automotive Group, and Sunday’s performance will be a matinee beginning at 2 p.m.
“We understand this weekend is a football weekend, so we wanted to offer something special for the ladies while their guys are home watching the game,” Jamie Dempsey Butcher, Managing Director of the ARTS said. “On Saturday, we will have a special Ladies’ Night with Morticia event. Ladies’ attending in groups of three or more will get discounted tickets, plus there will be shopping opportunities with reps from 31, Scentsy, Origami Owl and more. And we will have shoulder and neck massages in the lobby.”
The Coalfield Jamboree doors will open at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 10th, for more shopping opportunities. The doors will opened one hour before the show begins on Friday and Sunday. All tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the door.
