Municipal League welcomed


Members given tours of Hatfield and McCoy trails and local businesses

A reception for the Municipal League was held at the Logan County Airport Oct. 22. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, along with mayors from throughout the area and representatives from the Municipal League, were presented with gifts commemorating the first meeting of the Municipal League in Logan. Logan Mayor Serafino Nolletti presents Tomblin with a woodcarving of West Virginia with a heart carved out of Logan County.


Visitors from the Municipal League where led through the Hatfield and McCoy trails at near peak fall colors. After the ride Oct. 22, the Municipal League was treated with visits to Logan’s Rock City Bakery and The Hot Cup.


The West Virginia Municipal League visited Logan Oct. 22 and 23. The group, whose membership includes representatives of city and town governments throughout West Virginia, were given a two hour tour of the area’s Hatfield and McCoy Trail System.
