A former school bus driver in Logan County was arrested Oct. 26 for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with a minor.

Trooper N.C. Boothe, with the West Virginia State Police, reports he was contacted June 16, 2015 with a complaint of sexual abuse of a minor.

Boothe reportedly spoke with a complainant who alleged the victim had began acting out in school between August and December 2014.

The complainant reportedly advised Boothe the victim disclosed they had suffered sexual abuse by William “Squeely” Horn, 24, of Ethel, W.Va.

The complainant reportedly stated the victim disclosed the abuse occurred at Horn’s residence.

Boothe reports he contacted the Logan County Child Advocacy Center June 16, 2015 to schedule a forensic interview with the victim.

During the forensic interview, the victim reportedly stated they had been sexually abused by Horn.

A doctor’s examination reportedly supported the victim’s claims.

Horn is charged with a felony count of sexual abuse in the first degree.

If he is found guilty, Horn could be forced to spend between one and five years in a state correctional facility and pay up to $10,000 in fines.

Bond was to $100,000 in Logan County Magistrate Court.
