Vance pleas to sexual assault

OCEANA, W.Va. — Jeremy Vance of Oceana plead to the charges of two counts of felony Sexual Assault in the Third Degree and two felony counts of Use of Minor in Filming Sexually Explicit Matter October 29, 2015 in front of Circuit Court Judge Warren McGraw.

Vance will serve incarceration of two concurrent terms of not less than one nor more than five years and two concurrent terms of eight years and are to then run consecutively. Vance also has to register for life as a sex offender and extensive supervision post release for a term of twenty years.

Wyoming County Prosecutor Micheal Cochrane states that, “once again, justice was served with the plea and sentencing of this case. While I will not mention the facts of this case, its extremely important to monitor your child and activities involving electronic communications. Especially when involving other adults.”

Cochrane also commented on a job well done to Chief Deputy Prosecutor Sante Boninsegna, Jr. and Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force in the investigation and prosecution of this matter.
