The Hatfield McCoy Convention and Visitors Bureau (HMCVB) will host the second annual Holiday Artisan Celebration during the first week of December.
The celebration of artisans will feature various local artisans showcasing their craftsmanship.
The event will be held in the Hatfield McCoy Convention & Visitors Bureau lobby located at 325 Stratton Street in Logan, W.Va.
The celebration will be open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event will welcome two artisans to this year’s Celebration Event. Artisans will be selling their handcrafted wares.
Stephanie Cooke with Sumthin’ Country will exhibit her crafts of handmade wreaths along with candles and tarts on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Shelley Goodman will be the featured artisan on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015. Shelley is well known for her hand painted ornaments and glassware.
Debrina Williams, Executive Director for the Hatfield McCoy Convention & Visitors Bureau stated, “This event is a great way to kick off the Christmas season. It allows our visitor’s bureau the opportunityto show case our local talent and it benefits several of the small businesses in our area. After all, small business is the heart of the tourism industry. Plus it allows the general public to visit our local office and purchase some wonderful handcrafted gifts for the holidays. We enjoy showing our support for the small businesses in the region.”
