LOGAN — The City of Logan has announced they will hold a fundraiser for their Team Santa effort.

A murder mystery dinner theater production by the interactive murder mystery theatre troupe, Murder and Merriment, will be staged at Four Seasons Country Store at 32 Main Avenue in Logan, W.Va.

The theme of the murder mystery dinner is set to be “Fashion Runway Murdering Divas.”

Reservations are required for the event.

Tickets are $20 per guest, and a specially catered dinner will be served to play goers.

The show will be staged Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. and audience members are encouraged to dress up and participate in solving the murder.

Logan city clerk Amber Miller Viars explained the murder mystery dinner is being used to raise last minute funds for the Team Santa effort by the City of Logan.

The Team Santa project is set to replace the outgoing Operation Santa toy drive that delivered toys in Logan County.

Team Santa plans on keeping that tradition alive in the City of Logan.

Viars explained Team Santa by saying, “This is the most meaningful event that the City of Logan does all year. It is the event that will make you forever grateful.”

Team Santa is still accepting gifts for all ages. The group is also collecting hygiene products for teens and the elderly as well as monetary contributions.

Viars stressed Team Santa is in need of new toys and stated she is worried the group will run out of toys.

Anyone interested in purchasing tickets for the murder mystery fundraiser or making a donation can call 304-752-4044 or drop of your donation any day of the week to Logan City Hall 219 Dingess Street or the City of Logan Fire Department.

“Thank you for helping us keep this tradition alive. Merry Christmas,” added Viars.
