According to Commissioner Reed, “In God We Trust” bears historical significance, as it is our nation’s motto, adopted in 1956. “In God We Trust” also appears on United States currency and coins.

“We congratulate the members of the Dry Fork Recreation Center, the sponsors of the “In God We Trust” plate, for their efforts in obtaining the first 250 paid applications to produce a special plate.
