LOGAN, W.Va. — The City of Logan honored their 2015 WV Freedom Festival Queen Lindsay Ellis during the council meeting held Tuesday, January 12. Ellis was honored for her accomplishments during the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals pageant held January 11 in Charleston.

Ellis, who competed against 81 other queens from across the state, was selected as a Top 15 Finalist. She was also awarded Most Photogenic during the competition from Steve Vincent Photography.

Ellis competed in personal interview, evening gown, event promotion and, as a finalist, had an on stage interview.

Ellis will be the last WV Freedom Festival Queen to attend the WVAFF pageant. It was recently announced by WV Freedom Festival organizers Serafino Nolletti and Amber Viars that 2015 was the final year for the festival.
