MAN, W. Va. — Fresenius Medical Care North America will host an open house celebration Wednesday, March 9 at its new clinic in Man.
The clinic, which will serve Logan, Mingo and Wyoming Counties, can treat a maximum of 48 patients a week and enables Fresenius Medical Care’s local team of medical professionals to provide for the area’s dialysis community.
An open house at Fresenius Medical Care Man will be held 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
Local medical professionals will be available to discuss patient services and the latest dialysis treatment options, including peritoneal and home hemodialysis, which can offer patients greater independence, convenience and health benefits.
Fresenius Medical Care’s Healthy Lifestyles initiative is aimed at helping people with chronic kidney disease live a better life on dialysis by becoming more physically active, eating healthy foods and enjoying more flexible lifestyles.
Professionals will provide demonstrations of the latest dialysis technology and single-use dialyzers and treatment stations designed for patient comfort and convenience that feature reclining, heated treatment chairs, individual televisions and wireless internet access.
Light refreshments will be available, and the event will be open to the public.
