Cold weather moves in

No one will need to worry about a “hot slide” as the mercury will be falling for the next few days with nighttime temperatures expected to dip into the teens and even single digits. The National Fire Prevention Association (nfpa.org) states heating equipment is the leading cause of deaths in house fires. The NFPA reccomends keeping a three-foot clearing around space heaters. According the NFPA heating equipment caused 53,600 house fires and 400 deaths in 2011.
