CHAPMANVILLE — Thornhill Ford Lincoln is moving just a mile and a half North from its current location on Corridor G at Chapmanville. What once was known as Trader’s Town is now the new home for the dealership.
“The sales department and all our inventory have already moved,” said Wally Thornhill in a recent interview. “Service and parts are still at the old location temporarily.” Temporary as the service and parts departments will be moving as soon as the new facilities are completed.
The new building is roughly 37,000 square feet, and the new lot is nearly three times as big as that of the old location.
“You can’t sell it if you don’t have it on the lot,” Butch Nisbet, co-owner, said. “And a bigger lot means even more selection for the customer.”
The new facilities include the latest in technology to maintain excellent communication between sales, service and parts personnel and customers.
Plans for the grand opening date have not yet been finalized.
