CHAUNCEY, W.Va. — Hannah Gabrielle Browning will lead her class as Valedictorian with a 3.98 grade point average at Beth Haven Christian School’s (BCHS) graduation ceremony set for 6 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at Chauncey. Guest speaker will be Randy Skeens, a member of BHCS Board of Directors and pastor of Central Baptist Church.
Hannah is the daughter of Vicki Browning Frye and the late Mark Browning. She is the niece of Marlene and Danny Coldren. Hannah resides at Stollings with her mother and brother, Jason Frye.
Hannah has attended BHCS since her enrollment into the 4-year-old kindergarten class. During high school, Hannah has been very active in sports. She has participated in volleyball, basketball, track, and archery. She received the Wendy’s High School Heisman award for outstanding achievement and also received West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA) All State recognition for Volleyball.
Hannah serves as president of the BHCS chapter of the American Association of Christian Schools National Honor Society. She has been honored with the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. She has received from the West Virginia Christian Education Association Fine Arts competition Excellent Award for several years consecutively for academics. She also has served BHCS on Student Government, Yearbook Committee, and Spanish Club.
Hannah plans to attend Marshall University in the fall to pursue a nursing career, where she has been awarded the Marshall Presidential Scholarship. She has also earned the Promise Scholarship from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.
