Grand jury indicts one on murder charge

LOGAN, W.Va. — The May term of the Logan County Grand Jury returned 16 indictments in Judge William Witten’s Circuit Court, including one indictment for murder.

Those indicted were:

16-F-60: April Albright was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-61: Jeremie Dean Bailey was indicted for grand larceny.

16-F-62: Chad E. Branham was indicted for fleeing in a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, controlled substance or drugs, fleeing in vehicle, speeding, driving left of center and failure to obey traffic control device.

16-F-63: Robbie Dalton was indicted for embezzlement and 27 counts fraud in connection with an access device.

16-F-64: Julianna Farmer was indicted for embezzlement and 10 counts fraud in connection with an access device.

16-F-65: Eugene Hatfield was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-66: Bycle Hensley was indicted for sexual abuse first degree, attempted sexual abuse in the first degree and driving under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs.

16-F-67: Kristan Johnson was indicted for driving under the influence DUI controlled substance third or subsequent offense and violation of the motor vehicle alcohol test and lock program.

16-F-68: Belinda Sue McCloud was indicted for shoplifting third offense.

16-F-69: Jere Dale Morrison II was indicted for two counts breaking and entering and destruction of property.

16-F-70: Edison Mullins was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-71: Ocie Mullins was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-72: Bradley Allen Smith was indicted for two counts burglary and two counts felony destruction of property.

16-F-73: Donald Toler was indicted for six counts fraud in connection with access device.

16-F-74: Marvin Tolliver was indicted for murder in the first degree.

16-F-75: William Jaried Vance was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-76: Susan Walker was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16-F-77: Tyler Allen Wooten was indicted for malicious assault.

Arraignments for those indicted in Judge Witten’s court have already been held.

The charges contained in an indictment are merely accusations; defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
