Beating the heat


The Henlawson Fire Department spent the last two days providing much needed cool down to children at Verdunville and Justice elementary schools. Temperatures have routinely reached into the 90s over the week, and schools are nearing the start of summer. Fire Chief Windell Hunter explained his department was happy to be able to give the children of the county some relief from the heat.
