LOGAN, W.Va. — The Logan County has issued two boil water advisories and lifted one advisory issued last week.
On Monday, July 25, the PSD issued boil water advisories for customers in the area from Switzer to Sarah Ann and from Manns Knob at Harts to the end of the line. Both advisories were issued due to an interruption of water service.
The PSD recommends bringing the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.
Customers of the areas will be notified when they no longer need to boil their water.
A boil water advisory issued on Thursday, July 21, for the area from Mill Creek to Lake, Garretts Fork to Trace Fork, Trace Fork to Anchor Road, North Fork to Big Ugly, Chapmanville, Crawley, Ridgeview, Big Creek to Harts Creek, has been lifted.
The PSD reports that the problem has been corrected and it is no longer necessary to boil your water.
